I was born overseas in 1970 and I moved with most of my immediate family to Australia in 1979. Through various experiences I have learnt to see the uniqueness and wonderful form of the Great Aussie Outdoors. As a child, drawing was a way to relax and enjoy the warm afternoons when I wasn't playing sport. Visual Art was my favourite subject at high school and I became inspired to paint. Unfortunately my career choices after high school took a very strange path and my artistic pursuits took a back seat. Gradually I was inclined to pick up the brush again as my addiction to painting ignited once more. I now balance my art, career, wife and two children very carefully.
My paintings are painted in soft pastels, acrylics, and oil paints. Subject matter is whatever interests me at the time and it ranges from dolphins to rainbow lorikeets. The quality in my paintings has progressed markedly as I now paint outdoors with my soft pastels more regularly. All my creations are completed with professional grade materials and I do not believe in shortcuts. My goal is to paint quality artworks and enjoy the experience.
